I am passionate about innovative engineering and technology that leads to future inventions for the advancement of the human lifestyle.

With that said,

As a STEM graduate and a physics major, I have developed strong problem solving and logical analyzing skills which has excelled my abilities in creative thinking, hands-on prototyping and testing, and tackling a wide range of problems without fear. Pursuing a degree which bases the principle of all aspects of science has given me the opportunity and the knowledge to be very well rounded in many fields of scientific development, mechanical engineering, and electrical sensors and circuitry. These include: microcontrollers & IDE (Arduino & Raspberry Pi), kinematics, modern physics, electromagnetism, and 3D modeling software.

Throughout my CS minor/certificate, I have gained experience and knowledge in Java, Python, C, iOS development, SQL, Processing, and Linux over the last 4 years. I have created many apps and wrote many codes which dealt with solving algorithms, object oriented programing, multi-threaded apps, and JSON/XML data based programing. Being on this track requires an intensive dedication to problem solving, structuring, implementing, and debugging code. In addition, I was recognized for creating the best app in the iOS development class as the final project.

Through all my experiences, I have come to realize that my strongest quality is the ability to quickly adapt and integrate my knowledge in any environment. And with all things considered, I believe that such quality is a crucial characteristic of a successful team member and a leader.

SQL Databases - Fall 2017: – Project Lead; Designed and built relational database/big data pipelines on AWS(Amazon Web Services) using S3 and RDS.; Solve complex queries and algorithm using SQL/PostgreSQL syntax in terminal and Unix based operating system.; ETL programming on Apache Spark and building processing pipelines for batch and streaming data using Amazon clusters.
Graphics & Visualization Programmer - Spring 2017: – Project Lead; Java based media retrieval application using Processing 3 through JSON and XML data structure from Instagram.; Object Oriented Programing structural hierarchy to integrate multithreading.; Sprite animation and interlacing of multiple files to create and execute animations.
iOS Mobile Developer - Fall 2016: - Main Project Lead; XCode & Swift based Object Oriented Design/Programing to create an asynchronous callback and live refreshing of online trading application.; Implementation of MySQL based server to upload & retrieve user information and trading item data.; Multi-platform GUI to view and select items using collection and table views gathered from server retrieved array of objects.
Republic of Korea Army – Fall 2013 - Summer 2015: - Squad leader of 1st Squadron; Served as the active sergeant squadron leader of a 10 men engineer squadron; 21st Division Engineer Battalion 1st Company 1st Platoon 1st Squad Demolitions and Explosives Specialist.; Honorably discharged as a Sergeant Specialist with Elite Rank Warrior status that rank among top 5 percentile of the ROK Army.
Phi Kappa Tau – Spring 2012 - Present: - Founding Father/Risk Management Chair; Founding father of the 40+ men Beta Alpha Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau at the University of Texas at Austin and PKT is a national level fraternity of extraordinary men.; Arranged and hosted the annual six string philanthropy that raise funds to support the handicap summer camp for children with disabilities and illnesses.
STEM Engineering Academy – Fall 2007 – Summer 2010: - FRC Robotics Team Captain; Engineering Academy of 100+ students with 4 major national level competing teams including: FRC Robotics, Underwater ROV, Solar Car, Suborbital Aerospace Rocketry.; Participated in 3 major teams as Electrical Control Lead (Underwater ROV & FRC Robotics(Captain)), Suborbital Aerospace as Operations Procedure Circuitry lead.
